Jonathan is one of the most versatile and talented musicians you could ever find. He trained at Westminster Choir College with a BA in Music and a Masters in Music Education from Boston University. While he started on the saxophone, he plays nearly every instrument and has a rich baritone voice. Jon would tell you that the primary instruments that bring him joy are singing, drums, and piano. Although, he'll bring out a guitar if you ask! He has spent the past two decades teaching band, choral, and general music in the classroom as well as providing private lesson instruction and offering mentorship and workshops on worship.
Jonathan has always loved running and recently discovered ultramarathons. Like life, he runs the races set before him with character, perseverance, hope, and integrity. His diligence pervades everything he does from serving and loving his family to inspiring his students and cross country runners.
He has a heart, like David, to build a tabernacle of praise. Over the years as a worship leader he has cultivated a tender heart in the secret place with his Jesus. His worship can enter the courts of praise with a shout of thanksgiving, or be in the secret place with awe and surrender, or beat a rhythm of breakthrough and hope on the drums.
Jonathan's biggest desire is to raise up a worshipping generation where praise draws people into a saving grace through Jesus and a deep relationship with the Father.
Julia has often described herself as a jack of all trades. With a BS in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Masters of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Masters of Education from Rider University, she is quite eclectic. Having taught in both public and private school, over the years she's taught nearly every science class in high school ranging from special education science, science electives, engineering, and AP science classes.
She loves crafting and connecting the truths of scripture that bring the revelation, breakthrough, and love of Jesus to people. She can often be found pondering curriculum, messages, reading, and creating. Julia has an intercessor's heart, and this is often demonstrated not just with words but also visibly through movement and dance. She has a knack for trying new things, and some of her interests over the years includes pottery, climbing, Taekwondo, and 3D printing. Julia has worn different hats over the years: friend, wife, mother, pastor, and teacher. And the most precious, beloved daughter of God.
Julia's biggest desire is to see the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the power of his resurrection go to the unreached through the truth of the scriptures, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the worship of our King.
